**_We are looking for an AI Wizard, who will be the go-to expert for all
things AI at Unruly._**
### Key Responsibilities
**1\. Make Unruly AI-first and AGI ready**
* Scout and deploy the best AI tools and platforms, to make Unruly a research brain always built on the most advanced models of intelligence.
* Integrate the tech stack and maintain AI agents (e.g., for deal sourcing, tech research, talent pipelines, fundraising).
* Be up-to-date on everything happening in the AI space, organize workshops and seminars, making sure the firm is always on the bleeding edge.
* Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, research labs, and academic institutions for partnerships, tech and talent.
* Help making Unruly an AGI-ready firm.
**2\. Support investment process**
On all AI-related things, and provide input during the due diligence process.
Additionally:
* Scout (ideally automatically) new companies building new AI-specific technology both on the infrastructure layer and application layer.
* Develop investment theses about the 2nd and 3rd order effects of living in a world with widely available AGI.
**3\. Give portfolio companies infinite AI leverage**
* Serve as a sparring partner to portfolio founders on AI-related topics — how to build and maintain their tech stack, use AI to get 100x more force and scale than competitors.
* Offer guidance to improve product functionalities, scale AI infrastructure, and optimize algorithms.
* Connect founders with relevant AI geeks, talent and resources.
_This is a 80% product / platform role and 20% investment role._
### Qualifications and Ideal Profile
* **Technical Expertise:** AI-native talent obsessed with the latest models of intelligence and what's next up.
* **Hands-on Experience:** You've built / deployed / integrated AI tools.
* **Venture Capital/Startup Exposure:** Familiarity with VC due diligence processes, and companies operations. Maybe you've helped companies automate their processes before.
* **AGI-ready:** You know it's coming and keep thinking of how it's going to change value creation, technology and research, business scaling, economies and societies.
* **Hacker:** Constantly trying to find new ways to hack systems, and get the most out of everything.
* **For former and prospective founders:** come check everything out to decide what to build next.
