### The role
We're looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to lead the efforts in
developing and scaling complex test runner infrastructure of emulators,
simulators and dedicated devices. This key role will define the future of
Robin's infrastructure, focused on handling hundreds of thousands of daily
tests with extreme reliability, low latency and a cost-effective architecture.
Your day to day will include hands-on backend coding across the stack, from
on-device drivers to backend APIs and VM infrastructure. You’ll collaborate
closely with internal teams, external contributors and clients.
### Responsibilities:
* Architect and scale our distributed backend to manage massive test volumes on Android Emulators, iOS Simulators and dedicated devices.
* Lead the development and management of infrastructure and backend services.
* Collaborate with the engineering team on roadmap and strategy to ensure system reliability, scalability and cost efficiency.
### What We're Looking For:
* Significant experience with Kotlin or modern Java in complex distributed or stateful systems.
* Experience managing Android or iOS CI infrastructure and building testing frameworks.
* Experience architecting and scaling high volume infrastructure systems.
* **Bonus Skills:**
* Experience with Maestro or similar testing frameworks.
* Proficiency with gRPC or Thrift for system communication.
