company to hire a Staff Software Developer – AI & Platform leader to help
design and build the next generation of AI-powered product capabilities within
a highly scaled SaaS platform.
**About the Role**
This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on building production-
grade AI features, LLM-based agents, intelligent automation, and predictive
capabilities that operate against real-world operational data. The ideal
candidate enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, building scalable
systems, and helping shape how AI is integrated into modern software products.
**Responsibilities**
* Design and build AI-powered product features, including LLM-based agents and intelligent automation
* Architect and ship scalable production systems end-to-end
* Collaborate closely with Data Engineering on retrieval infrastructure, pipelines, and AI data requirements
* Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and RAG architectures
* Build reliable, scalable, and maintainable distributed systems
* Partner with product and engineering teams to translate customer problems into technical solutions
* Lead through technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
* Help establish shared tooling, frameworks, and development patterns for AI initiatives
**Qualifications:**
* Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building production-scale systems
* Hands-on experience building AI/ML-powered product features using LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks
* Strong distributed systems and system design experience
* Experience working in ambiguous problem spaces and making pragmatic architectural decisions
* Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering and product teams
* Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction
* Product mindset with focus on delivering real customer value
* Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code
