ApplyDesign, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and automation on
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support 24x7 healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Architecture & Deployment
β’ Design and deploy Kubernetes clusters using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
optimized for container orchestration of microservices and AI workloads.
β’ Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using
Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
β’ Create and manage Google Cloud Storage buckets for secure storage of
structured/unstructured clinical data, ensuring proper access policies and
encryption.
Automation & CI/CD Pipeline
β’ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments,
updates, and rollback processes.
β’ Develop automated deployment workflows using Google Cloud Build and
integrate with container registries and monitoring tools.
System Monitoring & Performance Optimization
β’ Configure Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Security Command Center to
track system performance, security events, and compliance posture.
β’ Implement auto-scaling strategies to dynamically allocate resources based on
workload demand, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Security & Compliance Management
β’ Enforce strict security controls: Identity and Access Management (IAM),
Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), firewall rules, and encryption both at rest and
in transit.
β’ Align cloud architecture with healthcare compliance frameworks such as
HIPAA, GDPR, ABDM, FedRAMP, HITRUST, and SOC certifications.
β’ Coordinate security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance
reporting for VC and partner due diligence.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
β’ Develop and test disaster recovery plans including multi-region failovers
and backups ensuring high availability of critical hospital AI services.
β’ Implement data backup strategies compliant with healthcare regulations and
optimize recovery time objectives (RTO).
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Documentation
β’ Work closely with development, AI research, and product teams to align cloud
solutions with feature requirements and scalability needs.
β’ Document infrastructure setups, operational runbooks, and security policies.
β’ Participate in sprint reviews, technical calls, and VC demos to showcase
architecture robustness and security compliance.
Candidate Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs or higher degree in Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, or
related discipline.
β’ 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Cloud Platform
infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
β’ Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
β’ Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud Build or comparable
tools.
β’ Strong understanding of cloud security best practices including IAM,
encryption, network segmentation, and security monitoring tools.
β’ Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations: HIPAA, GDPR, ABDM,
FedRAMP, HITRUST certifications.
β’ Knowledge of scalable storage solutions and data handling compliant with
healthcare standards.
β’ Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation for cloud
services.
β’ Strong troubleshooting, automation, and documentation skills.
