to prevent misuse, enhance adherence, and integrate seamlessly with
pharmacies, healthcare providers, and insurers. Our mission is to
revolutionize medication management, reduce prescription drug misuse, and
improve patient outcomes.
We have conducted a healthcare economics study validating our impact, joined
the NVIDIA Inception Program to explore AI-driven compliance tracking, and are
in early discussions with pharmacies, healthcare providers, and insurers.
SecretBox is now seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused Chief
Operating Officer (COO) to help drive operational success as we scale. This is
a high-impact role with equity compensation for an experienced leader
passionate about transforming healthcare.
Role Overview
As COO, you will oversee operations, partnerships, regulatory strategy, and
business development, ensuring that SecretBox scales effectively and
efficiently. You will work closely with the CEO to drive execution, build
infrastructure, and help position SecretBox for growth in a highly regulated
healthcare market.
This is an equity-only role and is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience
in healthtech, medtech, digital health, or SaaS.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Operational Leadership – Develop and execute scalable operational
strategies, optimizing supply chain, regulatory compliance, and customer
success.
✅ Go-to-Market Execution – Work alongside the CEO to refine and implement our
go-to-market strategy, expanding partnerships with healthcare providers,
pharmacies, and insurers.
✅ Strategic Partnerships – Lead business development efforts, securing key
partnerships with health systems, payers, and pharmacies.
✅ Fundraising & Investor Relations – Support capital-raising efforts,
including investor outreach, pitch meetings, and strategic positioning for
funding rounds.
✅ Regulatory & Compliance Oversight – Work with regulatory advisors to
navigate FDA compliance, ensuring a smooth path to commercialization.
✅ SaaS & Product Growth Strategy – Collaborate with engineering and product
teams to refine SecretBox’s AI-powered compliance monitoring platform and
drive customer adoption.
✅ Team Development – Help build and scale a high-performance team, fostering a
results-driven, mission-focused culture.
Who You Are
✔ Startup Experience: Prior leadership experience in a high-growth healthtech,
medtech, or SaaS startup (bonus: early-stage experience).
✔ Healthcare & Compliance Expertise: Knowledge of FDA regulations, health
insurers, pharmacy workflows, or digital health strongly preferred.
✔ Business & Operational Acumen: Proven experience scaling operations,
securing partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
✔ Fundraising & Strategy Execution: Familiarity with investor relations, VC
fundraising, and financial modeling.
✔ Hands-On & Mission-Driven: Willing to roll up your sleeves and execute in a
lean startup environment.
✔ Strong Network: Industry connections within healthcare, insurance, or
pharmacy sectors are a major plus.
