Job Description

### Senior Fullstack Engineer

**$170,000 – $210,000 base**

Remote

Company: Radimal – Veterinary Radiology Platform

Reports to: VP of Engineering

### About Radimal

Radimal powers veterinary radiology for hundreds of practices across the
United States. We support emergency hospitals, specialty centers, and fast-
growing practice groups with diagnostic workflows used every day.

Our platform combines board-certified veterinary radiologists with AI-powered
tools to deliver fast, accurate diagnostic insight. Many cases are time-
sensitive. Doctors rely on us to move quickly and get it right.

This is a live, operationally critical system handling thousands of cases per
month across time zones. When we ship improvements, they immediately affect
real veterinary teams and real patient outcomes.

We operate at meaningful scale:

* High daily case volume

* 24/7 production usage

* Complex scheduling and automation systems

* Enterprise AI-assisted workflows

* Growing partnerships with large veterinary groups

Radimal is financially healthy, growing, and embedded in daily clinical
operations. This is serious software used in real-world medical environments.

### About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer to increase shipping velocity and
strengthen our AI-powered workflows.

You will work across React (frontend) and Python (backend) inside a live
production system. The problems are real. The users are real. The impact is
immediate.

This is not a research role and not an architecture ivory tower role. It is a
high-agency product engineering role focused on shipping.

You should expect to contribute meaningfully within your first week.

### What You’ll Do

Bridge the gap between complex radiological data and the veterinarian’s
decision-making process. You'll ensure that when an AI generates an insight,
it’s presented in a way that is intuitive, trustworthy, and actionable in a
high-stress emergency environment.

* Ship end-to-end features across React frontend and Python backend

* Proven ability to build polished, high-fidelity UIs. You care about 'the last 10%'—loading states, optimistic updates, and accessible layouts.
* Build and improve enterprise AI-assisted workflows

* Improve case workflows, scheduling systems, notifications, and automation

* Turn loosely defined ideas into production features quickly

* Collaborate closely with engineering leadership on priorities

* Use AI tools daily to accelerate development and testing

### What We’re Looking For

### Required

* 5+ years building and shipping fullstack product features

* Strong React and TypeScript experience

* Strong Python backend experience (FastAPI, Django, or similar)

* Deep understanding of API design, data modeling, and authentication

* Experience building AI-driven interfaces (streaming, human-in-the-loop, or agentic UI) where user trust and clarity are the primary goals.
* Experience operating services in AWS production environments

* Experience building and running LLM-powered features in production

* High agency and strong debugging skills

* Clear communication and ownership mindset

* Active use of AI tools in your development workflow

### Preferred

* Experience in high-availability or operationally sensitive environments

* Experience shipping enterprise AI workflows

* Experience increasing engineering velocity in growing teams

* Comfort working in evolving systems without perfect documentation

### What Success Looks Like

**Within 30 days:**

* You’ve shipped multiple meaningful improvements

* You own a meaningful surface area of the product

**Within 60 days:**

* You’ve materially improved or shipped an AI-powered workflow in production

* You’ve measurably increased engineering throughput

### This Role Is Not For You If

* You prefer long planning cycles before implementation

* You primarily want to design architecture rather than ship features

* You are looking for a pure ML research role

* You need extensive onboarding before contributing

* You are uncomfortable owning production outcomes
