Apply### About Radimal
Radimal is building the future of veterinary radiology. Our AI platform powers
lightning-fast diagnostics and specialist reports for clinics across the
country. We’ve already built a functional and robust AI pipeline — now we’re
hiring someone to help take our models to the next level.
Join a friendly, fast-moving team making animal healthcare better.
### What You'll Do
* Improve performance of existing CNN models (classification + detection)
* Train new PyTorch models using our AI infrastructure and image+tabular datasets
* Build structured models (e.g. RFC, XGBoost) that complement vision models
* Select, clean, and prepare image + metadata datasets
* Tag datasets or review cases when necessary — you're not above getting into the data
* Analyze results and iterate rapidly on architecture and features
* Learn about veterinary medical conditions and failure cases to deepen modeling intuition
* Collaborate with backend/platform engineers to ship reliable ML to production
### You Might Be a Fit If
* You’ve fine-tuned or customized CNN architectures for new datasets — and you’re ready to go deeper into training and optimization
* You understand Active Learning, data-drift
* You’re fluent in PyTorch and comfortable debugging training pipelines
* You’ve worked with YOLO or other object detection models
* You can reason across both image and structured/tabular data features
* You value clean experiments, tight metrics, and rapid iteration
* You’re as much a researcher as an engineer — curious about what your models are learning and why
* You’re located in a U.S. time zone and (or can work in one)
### Tech Stack You'll Use
* PyTorch (vision models + training)
* RFC, XGBoost, and scikit-learn (structured models)
* Python, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL
* GraphQL, Hasura, React (for integrated platform workflows)
