A newly formed team at a mature Healthcare Tech company is looking to optimize
and integrate a range of existing applications while eventually developing a
suite of new applications with a broader Product and Engineering team. This
work will support web and mobile apps, with a focus on Golang and React. This
work will make real world impact to improve the physical fitness and overall
health and wellbeing of individuals across the US.
**What you 'll do:**
* Maintain and enhance production systems built primarily with Golang backend services and React frontend applications
* Develop and deploy feature enhancements and performance optimizations using our core Golang and React technology stack
* Lead technical migrations and system modernization initiatives across cloud environments
* Evaluate, prototype, and seamlessly integrate external APIs and third-party platforms into our ecosystem
* Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to deliver roadmap initiatives within defined timelines and budget constraints
* Drive the full software development process from initial requirements gathering through production deployment
* Transform stakeholder business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions and user-facing features
* Architect scalable solutions in collaboration with senior technical leadership and cross-functional development teams
**What you 'll need:**
* 4-6 years of comprehensive full-stack development experience, with
* Proficiency in Golang for backend API development and microservices architecture
* Experience building dynamic user interfaces with React and Next.js frameworks=
* Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, with strong preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
* Demonstrated ability integrating diverse third-party services through RESTful API implementations
* Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities with proven success working independently and as part of collaborative development teams
* Successful track record operating effectively in fully distributed, remote-first work environments
* Practical experience with agile methodologies including scrum frameworks and iterative development cycles
**Nice to Haves**
* Experience with NodeJS and TypeScript ecosystems
* Mobile application development using React Native with iOS and Android deployment experience
* Knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST) and secure health data handling practices *
