We're a fast-growing, VC-backed startup on a mission to reimagine how people
discover fashion online. Our founding team includes ex-Airbnb and DoorDash
product leaders, machine learning engineers, data scientists, and fashion
creatives with backgrounds as photographers and style influencers. Since
launching in 2024, we’ve seen rapid traction, with tens of thousands of high-
intent users, early revenue growth, and love from the fashion-tech community.

The Role: Founding ML / Search Engineer

We're looking for a founding engineer to lead the development of our core
search and personalization systems. You'll help users find fashion they
actually want by improving semantic search, building smart discovery tools,
and powering our real-time, chat-based stylist experience.

You'll work directly with the founders to shape the technical roadmap, own
mission-critical systems, and push the boundaries of what AI + fashion can do.

What You’ll Work On

Next-gen fashion search: Combine keyword and semantic techniques to surface
ultra-relevant resultsbalancing personal taste, diversity, and retail
strategy.
Personalization systems: Learn user preferences from browsing, clicks, and
purchases. Help them discover pieces that match their mood, occasion, or
evolving style.
Social + community discovery: Power features like “people with similar taste
loved this” or “you and your friend both love minimalist tailoring.”
LLM-driven search & stylist UX: Enable a real-time assistant that understands
vague fashion queries and returns curated results in seconds.
Evaluation pipelines: Define metrics and track the performance of our search
and LLM systems (think: relevance, diversity, latency, UX quality).

You Might Be a Fit If You…

Have 4+ years of experience working on ML, search, or recommendation systems.
Can balance rapid prototyping with building scalable infrastructure.
Bring strong product intuition—you care deeply about the experience, not just
the algorithm.
Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative startup environments.
Are curious about fashion and how people express themselves through style.
Are authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada and can work U.S. hours (we’re
remote-first within that time zone).

Bonus Points For
Hands-on experience building LLM agents or RAG pipelines in production
Prior work on e-commerce, marketplaces, or fashion-tech platforms.
A personal passion for style, retail, or digital fashion communities.
