This is a full-time, on-site or remote role for an Artificial Intelligence
Engineer, based in Dallas, TX. The AI Engineer will design, develop, and
implement AI solutions, focusing on creating and optimizing machine learning
algorithms and neural networks for Small to medium sized businesses.
Responsibilities include conducting research in areas such as natural language
processing (NLP) and pattern recognition, collaborating with cross-functional
teams, and translating complex datasets into actionable insights. Candidates
will also be expected to write scalable, high-performance code and contribute
to the development of software solutions that align with Orakota AI's mission.
**What You 'll Build**
* Design and integrate the Anthropic conversation engine
* Build the personalization architecture — the system that makes each agent unique to its business
* Engineer memory and context management so agents retain conversation history naturally
* Develop the prompt engineering framework that controls tone, personality, and brand voice
* Build the business training pipeline — how client information gets ingested and applied
* Ensure 24/7 reliability, uptime, and performance across all client deployments
* Architect the system to scale from 10 to 10,000 clients without re-engineering
* Collaborate with our AI Developer to integrate the intelligence layer with the client dashboard and website widget
**What We 're Looking For**
* 3+ years experience in AI/ML engineering or applied NLP
* Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs
* Strong Python skills and experience building production AI systems
* Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG architectures
* Ability to move fast
* Startup mentality — you own what you build and care about the outcome
* Strong communication skills — you'll work closely with non-technical co-founders
* Extra: Experience building customer-facing conversational AI products
