**About CoachIQ**

CoachIQ is building the operating system for the private sports coaching
industry.

This is a fragmented market that has historically lacked purpose-built
infrastructure—similar to what companies like Jobber, Slice, and Squire have
done in their respective verticals.

We are building the core software system that coaching businesses rely on to
run their operations, manage demand, and generate revenue—spanning scheduling,
payments, communication, marketing, and day-to-day workflows.

**The Role**

We’re hiring a product-minded Full-Stack Engineer to work directly with the
CTO and founders.

You’ll be building across the stack, shipping fast, and owning features end-
to-end. The environment is high-ownership, fast-moving, and ambiguous.

This starts as a contract role, with a clear path to joining the core founding
team.

**What You’ll Work On**

* Core product development across web and mobile applications
* Real-time systems (scheduling, messaging, live updates)
* Internal tools and operational dashboards for SMB operators
* Payments and transaction-driven infrastructure
* Performance improvements and system reliability
* Rapid iteration on new product bets tied to revenue growth

**Our Stack**

Frontend: React.js, React Native
Backend: Node.js, Express, GraphQL
Database: MySQL (RDS), S3
Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, EC2, Fargate), Vercel
Realtime/Media: WebSockets, MQTT, FFMPEG

**You Might Be a Fit If You**

* Have 3–7 years of full-stack experience
* Have shipped real products and owned them post-launch
* Are strong across both frontend (React) and backend (Node/GraphQL)
* Move fast and communicate clearly
* Don’t need structured environments or heavy management
* Are energized by ambiguity and building from first principles
* Have worked on SaaS, marketplaces, or payments systems

**Compensation**
