Job Description

**About AlloDirect**

Every donated graft represents a promise: that a family's gift will go on to
heal someone. Too often, that promise is broken by a supply chain that was
never built to keep it. Donated tissue expires on shelves. Facilities order
blind. Banks can't see the demand that's right in front of them. The result is
waste, in a category where waste means a gift that never reached a patient.

AlloDirect exists to close that gap. We're the direct sourcing platform for
human tissue, connecting AATB-certified tissue banks directly with the surgery
centers, hospitals, and health systems that use their grafts. We bring real-
time visibility, clean compliance, and a far faster path from need to graft,
so that more of what's donated actually reaches the surgeon, the patient, and
the moment it was meant for.

We're live, we're growing, and we are moving with urgency, because every cycle
this stays broken is another gift that doesn't get used. We're building the
system of record for how surgical biologics get sourced, and we want partners
across the industry building it with us.

**The Role**

As Head of Product, you own the product end to end. You'll take a platform
that already works in production and turn it into something facilities can't
operate without and tissue banks want to be part of. You'll sit between three
constituencies with very different needs, the facilities that buy, the banks
that supply, and the operations that keep every order clean and compliant, and
turn their friction into roadmap.

This is the first dedicated product hire at the company. You won't inherit a
team, a backlog, or a process. You'll build all three, working shoulder to
shoulder with the founder, talking to customers and partners yourself, getting
into the catalog and the order flow yourself, and making good calls with
incomplete information, because that's the job at this stage.

**What You'll Own**

* The full product vision and roadmap, from the facility ordering experience to supplier on-boarding tooling to the data and visibility layer that drives higher graft utilization across the network.
* Translating messy, real-world procurement workflows into a product that closes an order in minutes instead of days, without ever compromising compliance.
* Standing up product discovery and delivery from scratch: how we decide what to build, how we ship it, and how we measure whether it worked.
* Setting success metrics and using data and experimentation to continuously improve utilization, efficiency, and reliability.
* Engaging directly with facilities, tissue banks, clinical stakeholders, and partners to deeply understand their needs and turn those insights into product strategy.
* Helping hire and lead the product and engineering team as we scale.

**Who You Are**

You're gritty. You've built product where the spec was a customer phone call
and a whiteboard, and you preferred it that way. You move fast, own outcomes,
and don't need a process to exist before you can make progress. You're as
comfortable in a customer interview as you are in a catalog spreadsheet or a
roadmap review. And you want your work to matter, this is a mission you can
feel.

**What You Bring**

* Proven product ownership: you've taken products from early and ambiguous to live and growing, and can point to what you shipped and what it changed.
* Strong product strategy and roadmap leadership across cross-functional teams.
* Sharp analytical skills and data-driven decision-making, with fluency in product analytics and experimentation.
* Clear communication that aligns diverse stakeholders and makes complex ideas land with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
* Experience building and scaling B2B or platform products.
* Comfort and self-direction in a remote, distributed environment.

**Strong Pluses**

* Healthcare experience, especially near surgery centers, hospitals, supply chain, medical devices, or biologics. You understand that compliance isn't optional and clinical workflows are unforgiving.
* Early-stage startup experience, ideally as an early or founding product hire. You know what it means to be the whole product function, and it energizes you.
* E-commerce, marketplace, or transactional platform experience: catalog, search, ordering, and the mechanics of getting a transaction to close cleanly.
* Experience working closely with a founder, or as one yourself.

**Compensation & Benefits**

Base salary of $125,000 to $175,000, commensurate with experience, plus
meaningful early-stage equity. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision
insurance, 401(k), mental health and wellness support, a wellness stipend,
life and disability coverage, and paid time off.
