**About Apprenta:**
Apprenta was created as a public benefit corporation, on a mission to remove
barriers to education and upwardly mobile career opportunities. We believe
every individual deserves the opportunity to affordable education that
meaningfully opens the door to new career pathways.
Our team is small and scrappy, and has already built and exited a startup
together (Medumo, acquired by Philips in 2020). Our goal is to help solve some
of the most pressing workforce challenges of our time by aligning employer
investments with student needs, creating more access to the critical jobs,
particularly for individuals who face barriers to traditional four-year
collect programs.
Apprenta helps employers scale and optimize educational sponsorship programs
that remove financial barriers and propel economic mobility. From marketing
and application management to student onboarding, engagement, and monitoring,
our Sponsored Scholars Platform helps workforce development teams easily
manage and automate the entire student cohort lifecycle. Paired with
Apprenta's first-of-kind forgivable loan servicing product, Apprenta reduces
financial risk while enabling employers to invest in building the next
generation of healthcare workers.
**What we value**
Ownership is one of our core values. Our team solves problems, and each
individual feels empowered enough to take initiative to make the company
better in big or small ways.
Our team also aims to be a hyper transparent company, where each individual
understands and can read about our roadmap.
Feedback is integral to our team culture. We strive for a workplace where
anyone can give and receive feedback freely and compassionately, helping each
other grow professionally.
