Job Description

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and automation on
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support 24x7 healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Architecture & Deployment
• Design and deploy Kubernetes clusters using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
optimized for container orchestration of microservices and AI workloads.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using
Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Create and manage Google Cloud Storage buckets for secure storage of
structured/unstructured clinical data, ensuring proper access policies and
encryption.
Automation & CI/CD Pipeline
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments,
updates, and rollback processes.
• Develop automated deployment workflows using Google Cloud Build and
integrate with container registries and monitoring tools.
System Monitoring & Performance Optimization
• Configure Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Security Command Center to
track system performance, security events, and compliance posture.
• Implement auto-scaling strategies to dynamically allocate resources based on
workload demand, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Security & Compliance Management
• Enforce strict security controls: Identity and Access Management (IAM),
Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), firewall rules, and encryption both at rest and
in transit.
• Align cloud architecture with healthcare compliance frameworks such as
HIPAA, GDPR, ABDM, FedRAMP, HITRUST, and SOC certifications.
• Coordinate security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance
reporting for VC and partner due diligence.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans including multi-region failovers
and backups ensuring high availability of critical hospital AI services.
• Implement data backup strategies compliant with healthcare regulations and
optimize recovery time objectives (RTO).
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Documentation
• Work closely with development, AI research, and product teams to align cloud
solutions with feature requirements and scalability needs.
• Document infrastructure setups, operational runbooks, and security policies.
• Participate in sprint reviews, technical calls, and VC demos to showcase
architecture robustness and security compliance.
Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, or
related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Cloud Platform
infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud Build or comparable
tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices including IAM,
encryption, network segmentation, and security monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations: HIPAA, GDPR, ABDM,
FedRAMP, HITRUST certifications.
• Knowledge of scalable storage solutions and data handling compliant with
healthcare standards.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation for cloud
services.
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in fast-
paced, collaborative startup environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience working on digital health or healthcare SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Healthcare API implementations (FHIR, DICOM, HL7).
• Experience with federated learning, privacy-preserving AI techniques, or
secure data access frameworks.
• Certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google
Kubernetes Engine Specialist, or Certified HIPAA Professional.
What We Offer
• The opportunity to build and run India’s first GPT-4 hospital automation
platform on a world-class cloud infrastructure.
• Flexible and dynamic startup work environment with remote-friendly
practices.
• Collaborative, purpose-driven culture emphasizing innovation, compliance,
and impact.
• Competitive salary, stock options, and professional growth opportunities.
