Apply**Founding Security / Identity Systems Engineer**
Stealth Startup | Autonomous Systems Infrastructure
A funded stealth startup is building unified runtime execution control for
autonomous workflows across the enterprise.
As automation and AI agents begin executing actions across infrastructure,
organizations increasingly struggle to understand:
* who initiated an action
* what systems executed it
* what identities were involved
* what the resulting blast radius may be
We are building the system that makes this visible and governable.
**What Youβll Work On**
You will help design the core identity and policy architecture of the
platform, including:
* Modeling relationships between humans, services, and autonomous systems
* Tracking execution lineage across infrastructure
* Building runtime identity propagation systems
* Designing policy evaluation and enforcement mechanisms
* Developing security telemetry and trust boundary models
Your work will define how organizations govern autonomous execution.
**Ideal Background**
Strong candidates typically have experience working with:
* identity systems
* authorization architectures
* policy engines
* security telemetry platforms
* infrastructure security systems
Technical strengths may include:
* Go, Rust, or similar backend systems languages
* distributed system architecture
* security-focused system design
* identity propagation and trust modeling
We are particularly interested in engineers who think deeply about how systems
fail, how permissions propagate, and how execution can be controlled.
**Founding Engineer Expectations**
Because this is a founding engineer role, we are looking for individuals who
also demonstrate:
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
* Ability to collaborate directly with early design partners and enterprise security teams to shape the technical solution
* Strong communication skills for explaining security architecture and infrastructure concepts clearly
* Desire and ability to recruit, mentor, and attract future engineers
* Comfort operating in a fast-moving early-stage startup environment
**What Makes This Role Unique**
* Opportunity to define runtime governance for autonomous systems
* Early ownership of security architecture
* Deep systems engineering challenges
* Small, highly technical founding team
