About the role
Validus.nexus is hiring a Senior Product Engineer — our most critical hire.
You'll function as a player-coach across the entire product surface:
verification architecture, AI matchmaking, Digital Twin, Capital Nexus,
communities, events, business and investment opportunities, and
communications.
**What you 'll own:**
Product architecture decisions, feature prioritization, and quality standards.
You synthesize inputs from backend, ML, design, and neuroscience into
shippable, coherent product. You mentor the ML engineer and product designer.
You set the technical and experiential bar that makes Validus credible to
verified members managing significant assets.
This is not a feature factory role. You're building trust infrastructure — the
system that verified founders, investors, and family offices rely on for their
most consequential professional relationships. Every decision you make is
visible to people who notice quality.
**You should have:**
* 7+ years shipping product at scale, ideally in platforms with network effects, verification, or financial infrastructure
* Strong opinions on product architecture, loosely held — and the ability to ship fast while maintaining quality
* Experience mentoring engineers and designers
* Comfort working across the full stack — you don't need to write every line, but you need to understand every layer
* A bias toward clarity, simplicity, and outcomes over process
