**About the Role**
We’re looking for an experienced finance professional to join our team as a
Strategic Head of Finance. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine
financial expertise with cross-functional collaboration, helping to drive our
product strategy and GTM with your expertise in this space. You will play a
critical role in providing insights and supporting our product and sales
initiatives. As our first finance hire you will help take our finance
operations from 0 → 1.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Participate in sales calls to provide financial expertise, communicate our value proposition, and address customer inquiries.
* Be a strategic guide as we build our product - you’ve been there, you’ve done that!
* Analyze and evaluate financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, and risk mitigation.
* Drive the company’s financial strategy, including operational planning, strategic fundraising, and capital management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer feedback informs product development and priorities.
* Support negotiations with key customers and partners by providing data-driven recommendations.
* Assist with the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure the success of product and customer engagement efforts.
* Drive process improvements and scalability across financial operations to support business growth.
* Lead all annual, quarterly, and long-range financial planning
* Provide data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
* Analyze trends and variances in financial data, offering recommendations for improvement or corrective actions.
* Oversee all finance, accounting, and administrative tasks, including month-end/year-end closes, accounts receivable/payable, compliance, and audits.
**What We 're Looking For:**
* 4+ years of experience in a finance role
* Experience with accounts receivable, collections, or strategic finance
* Strong preference for candidates who have worked at small startups
* Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to build financial models and analyze complex data sets.
* Experience working closely with product or sales teams, ideally in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
* A proactive mindset with a strong work ethic and a focus on delivering results.
