Job Description

Supermodel is building a new developer tool we call Shared Vision for Human-
Agent Collaboration to allow humans to stay in control of complex software
systems in a world where agents can generate code faster than you can review
it.

**Don 't proceed if:**

* You haven't experimented with or built MCPs and/or Small Local Models
* You don't use LLMs every day
* You don't see yourself as a DAU of the product
* You can't speak to products and software that inspire you
* You aren't obsessed with craft and taste.

**You could be a great fit it**

* You've shipped complex software systems from zero-to-one preferably in a startup environment
* You have strong opinions on software development but are flexible and willing to work with others
* You've run schema or model driven development environments
* You view problems as opportunities to create new knowledge
* You feel strongly that your involvement and ideas will increase the value of the organization
* You have a pattern of rising to the top of orgs through willingess and ability to spot problems/bottlenecks and take responsibility for calling them out/fixing them no matter where they are in the org.

**Qualifications**

* Experience building LLM related apps/software
* At least 3 years of Senior SWE experience, looking for ICs who can lead when they spot a need/bottleneck but not managers

**What you 'll be doing at Supermodel**

* Building infrastructure that unlocks compounding downstream engineering benefits, for example creating a unified data model with templates that allows code from types API clients and servers to be generated when a schema is updated.
* Building features/infra/tools for a VS Code extension and MCP server development
* Working with knowledge graphs and graph DBs
* Working with 3-4 other engineers, CEO and designer to get a useful V1 of our product in hands and rapidly iterate/ship improvements while in market

**Interview process:**

* First you'll have a 30min call with Me (Abraham) to get to know each other and guage interest in working together
* Next, ~45min to talk with myself and 1-2 engineers on the team
* If everything feels good we'll start with a 1-2 week work trial to see how we work together.
* Please note the entire team is full time contractors until we deliver the product to market at which point we will transition to FTE
