📄 Job Description
StudentVault.ai
We're building a generative AI platform where students can create,
personalize, and securely store their academic work — with long-term
ownership, privacy, and ethical AI at its core.
StudentVault.ai is a student-first, AI-powered productivity platform designed
to support authentic learning — not just automate outputs. We’re combining
secure content workflows, personalization, and attribution-focused AI
architecture into a system students will rely on for years.
We’ve identified a massive underserved market, and we’re not entering a red-
ocean brawl. This is a rare moment where the right idea, in the right form,
can lead the category. We're talking about a generation of students growing up
with AI but lacking tools that protect their voice, their data, and their
future.
We're leveraging proven generative AI architecture from past success stories,
and applying it with a completely new focus and economic vision — one that
rewards creativity, student growth, and long-term academic loyalty.
⚠️ A Note on Compensation – Transparency First
This is an unpaid opportunity during the MVP build phase. If you’re looking
for a salary today, this won’t be a fit — and we completely respect that.
What we’re offering instead is meaningful equity and a true co-
founder/fractional CTO role, with the chance to transition into a full-time,
salaried position once we hit product launch, early traction, and revenue or
funding.
This is a great fit for someone looking to:
* Take on a part-time, fractional, or nights-and-weekends role
* Hustle with integrity and contribute to a mission that matters
* Grow into a permanent leadership position in a purpose-driven AI company
* Help shape the architecture, vision, and value model from Day 1
If you're based outside the U.S., no problem — we’ll ensure proper legal and
financial structure for your participation, including international filings
and banking.
We value honesty, clarity, and mutual respect. We’re not here to waste your
time — this is a real opportunity to join a founder-led build and own a piece
of something designed to scale with purpose.
👋 Who You Are
* You’ve shipped full-stack products or led core architecture
* You care about AI ethics, education equity, and using tech to enable—not replace—human growth
* You want to push technical boundaries and shape platform-level economic levers
* You understand the stakes: data privacy, attribution, AI transparency
* You’re excited to partner, not just “work for”
* You’re progressive in your thinking and grounded in practicality
🛠️ What You’ll Own
* Architect and launch the MVP with full-stack autonomy
* Guide decisions around LLM integration, versioning logic, and privacy scaffolding
* Build workflows for content creation, secure storage, and smart retrieval
* Collaborate on product features that balance creativity, control, and usability
* Set the foundation for a platform that can scale ethically, virally, and securely
💡 Why This Opportunity Is Different
* Massive, underserved market (100M+ potential users globally)
* Clear differentiation from tools like Caktus.ai and other AI shortcuts
* Progressive financial modeling built around loyalty, attribution, and user ownership
* Viral, student-focused growth mechanics already mapped out
* You’re not joining a team — you’re forming a partnership
🧠 Tech Stack (Flexible Based on You)
* Frontend: React / Next.js
* Backend: Node.js or Python
* AI Layer: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, LangChain, vector search (RAG)
* Infra: AWS / GCP / Vercel
* Database: Postgres + Pinecone or Weaviate
🤝 What You’ll Get
* Founding equity with long-term alignment and total transparency
* A platform to build something meaningful and scalable from the ground up
* A founder who sees this as a partnership, not a transaction
* The chance to define what ethical, student-focused AI can become — and benefit from it
✅ Ready to Talk?
Let’s connect if this resonates. You don't need to be based in the U.S. — just
motivated, technically sharp, and excited to shape something new.
Drop us:
* A GitHub or portfolio link
* A few lines about your experience or what excites you about this kind of build
* Optional: Your take on what a student-first AI platform should look like
