Job Description

We're a fast-growing startup operating in a live production environment and
are looking for an experienced backend engineer to help us assess and optimize
our current RabbitMQ and WebSocket architecture (Python-based). This is a
short-term, high-impact consulting engagement for someone who thrives in
production-grade systems and wants to make a meaningful contribution to our
platform’s reliability and scalability.

🔍 What We’re Looking For
Availability: a few hours to meet with CTO (remote, async-friendly schedule)

Expertise: Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining RabbitMQ
and WebSocket systems in production (Python experience preferred)

Consulting Mindset: Ability to perform a thorough review and deliver
actionable, high-impact recommendations

🛠 What You’ll Do
Meet with our CTO to understand the current architecture and goals

Review our RabbitMQ and WebSocket implementation and identify potential
bottlenecks or architectural risks

Provide clear, prioritized recommendations for performance, scalability, and
reliability improvements

💵 Compensation
Hourly rate, flexible based on experience and fit.
