**Mystery on Main Street Seeks a Chief Technology Officer**
**About the Position**
We seek an engineer who truly wants to change things and use their creative
mind and software development skills to do it.
**Note** : We are a pre-funded, pre-product and pre-revenue start-up. The
individual selected will receive shares and be expected to participate when
available, approximately 4-6 hours per month until we become revenue producing
and are in a position to hire full time with salary. Shares will increase with
funding. Our entire executive staff is on this plan. In the interim, keep your
day job.
**Location**
Preferably based in Florida but the individual selected can be based anywhere
in the United States or Territories.
**About Mystery on Main Street**
We’re creating a phygital, big data marketing and advertising mobile
application utilizing AR (augmented reality), gamification and AI for software
development and application technology, to increase commerce for local B2C
(business to consumer) brick and mortar and events businesses and sustained
economic local community growth. Our mystery stories are written by real local
writers and take players into participating locations they’ve chosen, to
receive clues, solve a mystery and receive cash and other prizes. Interaction
with location personnel and employees is not required. Furthermore, location
personnel are not provided with nor do they have a method to facilitate
solving the game.
MoMS is not a gaming app. It’s an app that incorporates a mystery story as a
game. Think of this as Groupon meets scavenger hunt and Pokémon Go, but
players and participating merchants mutually gain with no membership or
subscription required.
**Compensation**
TBD. Upon funding, as *noted above, compensation will be competitive and
determined using several factors including but not limited to experience.
**Qualifications**
* Experience building and developing software applications and has worked with or familiar
with Nodejs, MySQL, Flutter, React Native, Three.js and some others.
* Capable of solving problems and creating solutions.
* Leading teams and taking responsibility for all things technical for the company.
* Open minded with a clear understanding they may know a lot, but don’t know everything and
always willing to learn.
