mundane work into 1 minute by automating marketing workflows. We’re starting
with AI agents that automate brand, copy, and legal reviews of marketing

### About the role
In this role, you will level up the backend and data pipeline for the web
application our customers use in their creative marketing workflows. This
involves working mainly on three backend services: our file ingestion and
processing service, our AI inference service, and the APIs that enable our web
frontend to make use of that data. You will be responsible for data modeling,
ETL operations, and infrastructure that powers our cutting edge AI. For
example, we have recently introduced the next generation of our RAG system; in
collaboration with our lead ML engineer, you will be responsible for the next
such evolution.

### Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has at least 7 years of practical engineering experience on web backends (data storage, APIs) and data pipelines (ETL, orchestrated file/data processing)
* Is comfortable working in JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Python
* Is familiar with setting up new cloud infrastructure (we use AWS, Terraform, and Serverless)
* Is excited to be part of the product process. You are effective when working independently because you prioritize based on how your work will impact users
* Is comfortable communicating clearly and often, and raising your hand when you have questions
* Is thorough in their work, internally motivated, and excited about our mission
Bonus qualifications:
* Comfortable working with NoSQL databases (our main database is on MongoDB)
* Significant contributions to a RAG pipeline involving file processing
* Proficiency with end-to-end machine learning pipelines, including data preparation, training, evaluation, and deployment
* Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and language or vision models
This is a remote position, with working hours aligned with the US East coast.
