Job Description

**Landmark** \- We’re building the Harvey of Commercial Real Estate.

Commercial real estate is a complex, slow-moving industry with long
development timelines, fragmented information, and heavy reliance on manual
processes.

Landmark is building domain-specific AI for commercial real estate. We combine
the power of large language models with industry-specific knowledge and
workflows - delivered through a simple, intuitive interface built for real
estate developers and owners. By streamlining how information is accessed and
acted on, we’re accelerating timelines, reducing risk, and giving teams
leverage across the entire real estate lifecycle.

You’ll be joining a founding team led by a tech founder with a prior exit and
one of the top real estate developers in South Florida.

**Role Description**

We’re hiring a CTO to take full ownership of Landmark’s technical direction.
You’ll collaborate closely with the cofounders to evolve our MVP into a
robust, scalable enterprise platform. This is a true zero-to-one role for a
highly technical builder who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and wants deep
ownership - of both the code and the company’s direction.

You Might Be a Fit If You…

Have 8+ years of engineering experience with a deep focus on backend systems
and AI/ML infrastructure.
Have shipped RAG-based systems or worked with production LLM workflows.
Have led or built engineering teams before - whether in a startup, scale-up,
or team lead capacity.
Know your way around vector databases and real-world LLM applications.
Work fast and prioritize pragmatism over perfection.
Want to build the technical foundation of a company with massive long-term
potential.

**Bonus Points**

Experience with frontend frameworks (React/Next.js) and UI/UX intuition.
Familiarity with tools like Langfuse, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Postgres vector.
Experience wrangling messy, unstructured data (PDFs, contracts, spreadsheets).
Exposure to real estate, construction tech, or other complex legacy
industries.
