**ABOUT THE RIGHT TEAM MEMBER**
As the Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and
executing a product strategy that drives user acquisition, engagement, and
retention through product-led and viral growth initiatives. Your goal will be
to develop seamless product experiences that delight users and naturally
encourage adoption and expansion within customer organizations.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced startup
environment and is passionate about driving customer-centric product
development. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be an integral part of
Kudoboard's strategic planning and execution process, driving growth for our
employee engagement product.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:**
* Define and lead product roadmap, along with company leadership, focusing on product-led growth (PLG) strategies that drive viral adoption and user expansion
* Define experiments to test for conversion improvements throughout Kudoboard’s funnel and analyzing data to determine effectiveness (proficiency in SQL is nice to have)
* Write requirements for product features and specs for engineers to use as they build, including thinking through different user scenarios and edge cases
* Work with external partners to build and enhance product integrations and offerings.
* Work with engineers to determine that features are fit for release, including quality assurance
* Interact with customers and our Customer Success and Support teams to understand customer workflows and ensure that the product is delightful and easy to use
* Collaborate with product designers to ensure that product design meets feature requirements and cover all user scenarios
* Evaluate business and product performance to ensure the team is focused on the highest priority opportunities that balance long term growth with immediate business needs
* Mentor and coach junior product managers
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
* 5+ years product management experience with a proven track record of managing producst with both product-led and sales-driven growth.
* Experience optimizing conversion funnels and viral loops within a product
* Experience working with external partners to drive integrations
* Experience at an earlier stage startup
* Experience leveraging data and A/B tests to drive product decisions and measure success
* Technical acumen and comfort working with engineering teams to make informed technical decisions
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to thrive working independently
* A positive attitude and strong desire to help others
* Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Salary range: $125,000-$175,000
Compensation will include salary + annual performance bonus, stock options,
401k match, and health/dental/vision benefits.
