**What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)**
* Provide expert information security support ensuring compliance with Department of Defense standards
* Design, implement, and manage policies and procedures for database and software security
* Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Leverage analytical skills and deep technical knowledge in cybersecurity
* Conduct security audits and assessments
**What Is Required (Qualifications)**
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or Information Technology
* Secret clearance required
* DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification, such as Security+, CCNA Security, or GSEC
* Strong documentation and technical writing skills
**How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)**
* Experience supporting Air Force or other DoD contracts
* Familiarity with NIST RMF, DIACAP, and FISMA compliance frameworks
* Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
* Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, or CEH
* Experience with incident response and digital forensics
