**Project Overview**
We're seeking an AI Software Engineer for a defined project engagement to
enhance our AI-driven risk and compliance management platform's intelligence
and automation capabilities. Our system leverages agentic architectures
powered by Claude and Gemini models to automate complex compliance and risk
management workflows.
**What You 'll Do**
As an AI Software Engineer on this project, you will directly contribute to
these key deliverables:
* Design & Build Agent Systems: Architect and implement specific AI agent components that power our compliance and risk management automation within the agreed project scope. Create production-grade agent systems using AWS Bedrock, LangChain, Claude and Gemini models and frameworks.
* Implement Intelligent Workflows: Develop orchestration layers and agent communication patterns that enable compliance and risk management workflows to operate autonomously according to project specifications.
* Build Retrieval Infrastructure: Create scalable RAG systems that connect our agents with regulatory content and customer data for the project deliverables.
* Backend Integration: Work closely with our front-end team to ensure agent systems are properly integrated with the user interface components.
**Skills and Experience Required for This Project**
* Software Engineering Foundation: 2-5 years of software engineering experience, with focus on backend and AI systems. Strong Python development skills and API design experience.
* AI & Agent Experience: Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and foundation models (Claude, Gemini, etc.). Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG systems, and agent-based architectures.
* Data Systems Knowledge: Experience with vector databases, data processing pipelines, and handling both structured and unstructured data at scale.
* Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS services (especially Bedrock) and modern deployment practices. Experience with containerization is valuable.
* Independent Work Capability: Ability to work effectively on project deliverables with minimal supervision while maintaining communication about progress.
**Project Terms**
* Duration: This is a project-based contract with an estimated timeline of 4 months.
* Future Opportunity: Upon successful project completion, there will be consideration for conversion to a full-time role with competitive market-based salary.
