CoreViva is a whole-body MRI startup building AI tools that help radiologists
work faster, give patients clearer answers, and ultimately catch more disease.
We're pre-Series A with over $10M in funding, backed almost entirely by
physicians. Our radiation-free scans take about 45 minutes, with results
delivered in two business days alongside personalized consultations with
board-certified radiologists. Headquartered in Newport Beach, California.
**Role Description**
This is an engineering lead role — full-time, fully remote. You'll work
alongside leadership to build and own the AI-powered tools that help our
radiologists work faster and catch more, including real-time systems where
latency and accuracy genuinely matter.
The work spans applied AI/ML and production engineering, end to end. You'll
prototype hard problems, drive them to production, and stay close to the
radiologists who depend on what you ship. If you want to do a little bit of
everything, with real ownership and a direct line of sight to patient impact,
this is that role.
What we're looking for
* Strong production engineering background — you've owned real-time or latency-critical systems and know what it takes to run them reliably
* Hands-on experience with applied AI/ML — LLM-powered applications, model integration, evaluation, and the messy real-world parts of shipping ML
* Product builder mentality — comfortable working across the stack, making product calls, and shipping things that get used
* Comfort with early-stage ambiguity — you take a vague problem, scope it, and drive it to done
* Strong communication; you'll work directly with clinicians, founders, and a small engineering team
Nice to have
* Streaming ASR or speech-to-text experience
* Healthcare or medical imaging background
* Prior experience as an early engineer at a startup
Compensation Range: 120k - 200k
