**Role Description**

This is a full-time remote role for an Applied AI Engineer / Senior Applied AI
Engineer. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize algorithms
for pattern recognition, neural networks, and advanced machine learning models
to improve software development processes. You will collaborate with cross-
functional teams to develop robust AI solutions, analyze statistical data, and
contribute to the research of machine learning methodologies tailored for code
analysis and software engineering applications.

**Qualifications**

* Expertise in pattern recognition and neural networks
* Strong background in computer science and algorithms
* Proficiency in statistics and data analysis for machine learning applications
* Familiarity with software development processes, secure coding practices, and legacy system modernization
* Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python or Java
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is a plus
* Experience with large language models and program analysis tools is preferred

**Compensation**

The expected base salary range for this full-time role is **$120,000–$220,000
USD per year**. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and
determined based on technical expertise, seniority, research background, and
fit for the role. Candidates with an advanced degree and/or deep experience in
large language models, program analysis, secure software engineering, or
applied AI for code may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
