BevMatrx AI is building the real-time beverage intelligence platform that
multi-location hospitality
operators have been waiting for. We turn the $15+ billion annual problem of
dead stock, shrinkage,
and reactive Excel-based inventory management into proactive daily profit
visibility. Our platform
combines live digital audits, employee performance tracking by shift, AI-
driven predictions, and the
industry’s first intelligent inter-location transfer engine that moves excess
inventory between
properties so it converts to revenue instead of sitting unused.

We are a small, early-stage team (you would be the third full-time member)
with deep domain
expertise from hospitality operations and a clear path to product-market fit
and our first paying
customers this year. This is a true founding-level role with high ownership:
you will define the technical architecture, build the core product from the
ground up, and help shape the engineering culture as we scale.

What You’ll Do
• Own the end-to-end development of our SaaS platform: real-time dashboards,
variance
detection/audit engine, AI-powered transfer recommendations, POS integrations,
and mobile scanning
capabilities.
• Build and maintain a modern, scalable stack.
• Work directly with the founder on product decisions, rapidly iterate based
on operator feedback from
pilots, and ship features that deliver measurable ROI for customers.
• Set up best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and security from
day one.
• Grow into the technical lead as we hire additional engineers.

What We’re Looking For
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of shipping
production code (personal
projects, open source, or previous roles).
• Experience (or strong interest) in building real-time applications, full-
stack web apps, databases,
and/or AI integrations.
• Hunger to own a product end-to-end in a fast-moving startup environment. We
value builders who
move fast, communicate clearly, and thrive with ambiguity.
• Bonus points for: hospitality/tech experience, prior startup work, mobile
development, or experience
with inventory/POS systems.
• Open to exceptional recent graduates or early-career engineers (2–5 years)
who demonstrate strong
potential and a genuine passion for solving real operational problems.
