Job Description

**Welcome to autoLOTO: Revolutionizing Workplace Safety Through Innovative
Technology**

autoLOTO is a pioneering technology company on a mission to transform
workplace safety for electricians. We're not just building software -- we're
creating a digital solution that prevents injuries, saves lives, and makes
complex electrical work dramatically safer and more efficient.

**Our Origin Story**

Born from real-world frustrations with outdated safety processes, autoLOTO
emerged after witnessing too many near-miss incidents and dangerous workplace
scenarios. We saw electricians struggling with complex electrical one-line
drawings, cumbersome logbooks, and error-prone tracking methods. Our founders
knew there had to be a better way to protect workers while making their jobs
easier.

**What Sets Us Apart**

What sets us apart is that we're solving all the fun, challenging problems
that make software development exciting---designing cloud systems that scale,
crafting intuitive and responsive web apps, and pushing the limits of what
great engineering looks like. But unlike many purely digital products, our
work has a direct, physical impact.

Our software is used in the real world, on real client sites, helping real
people do their jobs better every day. Safety is at the core of our
technology, aiming to prevent injuries and, in some cases, save lives. Not
only do we improve client safety, but we also make their work more efficient.
It's deeply rewarding to see your code come to life in practical, tangible
ways.

_Here are a few ways our software makes a real difference in our clients '
day-to-day operations:_

* Our Digital Twin technology (protected by multiple active patents) allows clients to better understand and manage their worksites
* Power flow is mapped throughout the entire worksite, allowing complex computations that used to take days, happen in under a minute
* Lockout/Tag Out (LOTO) events are 100% compliant, achieving both safety and efficiency gains
* We've already prevented over 80 real-world incidents that could have resulted in death, equipment failure, or both
* Veteran owned (over 65% of our team are veterans)

We're not just reducing risk -- we're fundamentally reimagining workplace
safety technology. While we began with electrical systems, we're rapidly
expanding our solutions to cover Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)
systems in large-scale industrial environments.

**The Opportunity**

We're looking for a senior Infrastructure Engineer to help build the next
generation of our safety platform-- software that's actively reshaping how
safety is managed across critical infrastructure environments. This is a rare
opportunity to engineer systems that have direct, real-world impact and are
used daily by people in high-stakes settings.

You'll be a core contributor from day one, with real ownership over
architecture, technology decisions, and product direction. We move fast, ship
often, and above all, value clean and thoughtful engineering. Whether it's
designing scalable multi-cloud infrastructure, optimizing system performance
and cost, or building automation that enables rapid feature delivery, your
work will go far beyond the spec sheet---you'll help shape the future of a
platform that matters.

**What You 'll Do**

* Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure supporting mobile, web, and backend platforms
* Lead infrastructure-as-code initiatives using modern tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
* Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation workflows
* Architect and optimize cloud services for security, reliability, cost-efficiency, and performance
* Collaborate with a small, focused team to develop resilient, scalable infrastructure
* Establish infrastructure best practices, security standards, and operational workflows
* Drive technical discussions and make critical decisions that impact platform reliability and scalability
* Mentor and collaborate with other team members

**What We 're Looking For**

* 8+ years of professional infrastructure/DevOps/SRE experience with deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
* Expert-level knowledge of cloud services and multi-cloud architecture patterns
* Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and practices
* Track record of driving technical decisions in complex infrastructure projects
* Experience building and operating production infrastructure for high-availability applications
* Deep understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices across cloud platforms
* Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to engineering team members
* Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

**Highly Valued Experience**

* Container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS) or managed container services (ECS, Cloud Run, Azure Container Instances)
* Terraform or cloud-native IaC tools (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Azure ARM/Bicep, GCP Deployment Manager)
* CI/CD automation (Argo CD and Gitops)
* Monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Stackdriver/Cloud Monitoring, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
* Infrastructure security and compliance across cloud platforms (AWS IAM/Security Hub, GCP IAM/Security Command Center, Azure Security Center)
* Performance optimization and cost management across AWS, GCP, and Azure
* Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, Cloud Functions, Azure Functions)
* Background in safety-critical applications or industrial software
* Experience working with distributed, remote teams
* Previous experience at a startup or high-growth environment

**Benefits & Perks**

* Competitive salary and equity package
* Fully remote position with flexible working hours
* Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
* Generous PTO policy
* Modern, lightweight work processes without unnecessary bureaucracy
* Opportunity to make a real impact on workplace safety technology
* Veteran-friendly workplace culture

**Career Path**

We understand that top talent often seeks diverse experiences throughout their
careers. We support engineers who want to make a significant impact over a 2-3
year period before taking their next career step. Our goal is to provide an
environment where you can do the best work of your career, be well-compensated
for it, and emerge with enhanced skills and experience that position you for
future opportunities.

If you're excited about building innovative technology that matters,
protecting lives, and working with a team dedicated to making workplaces safer
and more efficient, we'd love to hear from you.

_This is a full-time position with a salary range of 130k-175k annually based
on experience. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus based on company
and individual performance.
