### **About the Role**
As a Fullstack Engineer at Athina AI, you will play a crucial role in building
the next generation of AI development tools. This role requires a blend of
strong technical skills, creativity, and a passion for solving complex
problems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Design and Development:** Architect, develop, and maintain complex software systems from inception to deployment, ensuring high performance and scalability.
* **Collaboration:** Work closely with a small, dynamic team to design and build products that effectively solve real-world problems and provide exceptional user experiences.
* **Full-Stack Development:** Contribute to both frontend and backend development, ensuring seamless integration, functionality, and performance across the entire technology stack.
* **Problem-Solving:** Tackle challenging, unsolved problems in AI development, including data generation, curation, annotation, and the evaluation of complex AI products.
* **Innovation:** Continuously explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance our product offerings and stay ahead in the evolving AI landscape.
**Skills & Qualifications:**
* **Required:**
* A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a proven track record of designing and developing complex software systems from the ground up.
* Strong expertise in both frontend and backend development, with advanced knowledge of Node.js, Python, React, and SQL.
* Deep understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable web technologies, with the ability to create robust and maintainable code.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to tackle challenging technical issues and deliver innovative solutions.
* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* A strong passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends in AI, software development, and technology, with a desire to continuously improve and innovate.
* **Preferred:**
* Enthusiasm for Generative AI, with a penchant for tinkering and hacking.
* Excitement about solving unsolved problems in AI development.
* Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate.
