**Job Title: Principal Software Engineer**

**Location: Remote (United States)**

**Employment Type:** Full-Time

**Annual Compensation: 130k - 145k**

**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a **Principal Software Engineer** to lead system architecture,
drive technical strategy, and mentor engineering teams while building highly
scalable, secure enterprise applications on AWS.

**Key Responsibilities**

**•** Lead architecture, design, and development of secure, scalable, high-
performance applications on AWS

**•** Define technical strategy, engineering best practices, and development
standards

**•** Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor engineers across teams

**•** Partner with Product, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders

**•** Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security
in cloud environments

**•** Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance the AWS-based
platform

**Technology** Stack

**• Frontend:** React, JavaScript, TypeScript

**• Backend:** Node.js, NestJS, Express.js

**• Databases:** MongoDB, SQL

**• APIs:** GraphQL, REST

**• Messaging & Caching:** Kafka, Redis

**• Testing:** Jest, Test-Driven Development (TDD)

**• Cloud & DevOps:** **AWS** , CI/CD, cloud-native services

**Qualifications**

**•** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

**•** 9+ years of professional software development experience

**•** Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js

**•** Experience designing and deploying applications on AWS

**•** Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, Kafka,
and Redis

**•** Strong understanding of software architecture, security, and performance
optimization

**•** Proven experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring
engineering teams
