Apply**About AdaIR**
AdaIR is an AI-powered investor relations platform built for high stakes
public company communications. We help IR teams, CFOs, and executive
stakeholders prepare for earnings calls and other market moving moments
through script drafting, analyst question prediction, research, collaboration,
and post event reporting.
Our platform ingests filings, transcripts, analyst context, market signals,
and company source materials, then turns them into fast, explainable outputs
backed by auditable citations. No black box answers. No made up numbers. The
work has to be accurate, trusted, and defensible.
**About the Role**
We are hiring a Senior Engineering Manager, Product Engineering to lead a core
product engineering team at AdaIR. You will manage engineers across frontend
and backend development, partner closely with Product, Design, AI/ML, and
leadership, and help drive the operating rhythm for a team shipping software
used in real world, high pressure capital markets workflows.
This is a management role, but not a ceremonial one. You should be comfortable
reviewing architecture, guiding technical decisions, improving execution, and
stepping into delivery or incident work when needed.
This role also has a clear path to Director of Product Engineering for the
right person. We expect this hire to take on meaningful ownership quickly,
raise the bar for execution and engineering quality, and demonstrate the
leadership scope needed to grow into a broader product engineering leadership
role.
**What Youβll Own**
β’ Lead and grow a high performing engineering team delivering across core
AdaIR workflows.
β’ Translate product requirements into clear technical plans, milestones,
trade-offs, and execution priorities.
β’ Improve engineering quality across code reviews, testing, CI/CD,
observability, incident response, and release discipline.
β’ Partner with Product, Design, AI/ML, and customer facing teams to ship
features that are useful, usable, and trustworthy.
β’ Drive technical decisions across modern web, backend, and AI-adjacent
systems without over engineering the roadmap.
β’ Build fail-closed safeguards around citations, numerical validation,
permissions, and auditability so the product behaves safely under pressure.
β’ Help shape the engineering organization as we scale, including process, team
structure, and leadership expectations.
**What Success Looks Like**
In your first 6 to 12 months, you will:
β’ Make the team significantly more predictable in planning and shipping.
β’ Improve reliability, latency, and quality in one or more core product areas.
β’ Raise the bar on engineering practices, including test coverage,
instrumentation, and release readiness.
β’ Help the team ship AI-enabled features with clearer evaluations, better
monitoring, and sane rollback paths.
β’ Develop stronger senior engineers and emerging leads who can own meaningful
parts of the roadmap.
β’ Demonstrate the scope, judgment, and leadership needed to be considered for
progression into Director of Product Engineering.
**What Weβre Looking For**
β’ 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years leading engineers or
engineering managers.
β’ Strong track record shipping customer facing B2B SaaS or enterprise products
in fast moving environments.
β’ Solid technical depth across modern web and backend systems. You can reason
clearly about TypeScript, React, Node services, APIs, databases, cloud
infrastructure, and distributed systems.
β’ Experience leading teams building AI/LLM enabled products, retrieval backed
workflows, or other data heavy systems where correctness and provenance
matter.
β’ Strong product judgment. You know how to balance speed, scope, reliability,
and long term maintainability.
β’ Experience with enterprise requirements such as SSO, RBAC, audit logging,
deployment controls, and customer security reviews.
β’ Clear, direct communication skills and the ability to align engineers,
product partners, and leadership around hard trade offs.
β’ Demonstrated ability to operate above pure team management and contribute to
org design, cross team execution, and technical leadership.
β’ Ambition and capability to grow into a broader leadership role as the
company scales.
**Nice to Have**
β’ Experience in capital markets, fintech, regtech, legaltech, or another high-
trust domain.
β’ Familiarity with React, TypeScript, Node, Postgres, pgvector, LangGraph,
Azure, and containerized deployments.
β’ Experience with collaborative editing, versioning, track-changes workflows,
or document-heavy products.
β’ Experience helping teams scale through product expansion, platform
migration, or early enterprise growth.
**Why Join AdaIR**
AdaIR is building software for a market that does not forgive sloppy
execution. Our users are preparing for events that can move a stock price,
change a company narrative, or expose a team that came in underprepared. That
makes the problem harder. It also makes it worth solving.
You will help shape the engineering culture, product quality bar, and
technical foundation of a platform designed to be fast, explainable, and
trusted when scrutiny is highest. For the right person, this role is also an
opportunity to prove out Director-level ownership in a company still small
enough for your work to matter immediately.
**CompensationCompensation**
The base salary range for this role is $190,000β$225,000 USD, plus equity and
benefits. Final compensation will depend on experience, scope, and location.
For exceptional candidates with unusually strong product engineering
leadership and technical depth, AdaIR may consider compensation above the
listed range.
