engineering, architecture, and operations.

**Role Overview**
We are seeking a senior Project Manager with direct DoD / Navy (NIWC, NAVWAR,
or similar) experience who can independently lead delivery of an enterprise
web platform initiative in a structured federal environment.

This is a single-role, end-to-end ownership position. The selected candidate
will be responsible for both program-level coordination and hands-on
management of technical delivery across engineering, DevOps, and architecture
teams.

**Mandatory Requirements (Do not apply if not met)**
Direct experience supporting DoD / Navy programs (NIWC, NAVWAR, or similar)
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager with end-to-end
ownership (not deputy/support roles)
Demonstrated experience managing technical delivery involving:
*web platforms, CMS, or enterprise applications
*engineering and DevOps teams
Strong familiarity with structured federal delivery environments, including:
*formal change management
*risk and dependency tracking
*stakeholder reporting and governance

**Responsibilities**
Own end-to-end delivery of a web platform modernization initiative
Coordinate engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams to ensure alignment and
execution
Manage schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies
Maintain structured communication with stakeholders in a federal-style
environment
Ensure delivery adheres to compliance, process, and documentation expectations
Drive accountability and proactively resolve blockers

**Preferred (Strongly Desired)**
Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or similar)
Familiarity with Agile / hybrid delivery models
Experience managing distributed technical teams
Exposure to federal security/compliance frameworks

**Engagement Details**
Contract-based role
Remote (U.S.-based candidates only)
Long-term engagement (continuity expected)
Availability during standard U.S. business hours
