Apply**AutoPylot** is one of the largest, most trusted FAA-approved mission-
planning platforms for drone pilots. Pilots rely on us every day to plan and
execute safe, efficient missions, and our user base is growing fast. Now we're
looking for a Technical Co-Founder to help us scale our SaaS platform, expand
our technical capabilities, and build the next generation of tools for drone
operators and developers.
We're a small, venture-backed company building in one of the fastest-growing
categories in aviation. We're past the idea stage, past the MVP stage, and
firmly in the real users, real traction, real revenue stage. Now we're looking
for a Technical Co-Founder to help shape the next chapter of AutoPylot,
scaling our SaaS platform, strengthening our infrastructure, and finding new
ways to power the future of drone operations.
This is a true co-founder role. You'll have an authentic voice, absolute
ownership, and a massive impact on the product and the company.
**What You 'll Be Doing**
* Take ownership of AutoPylot's technical direction and platform architecture
* Build and improve our backend, frontend, infrastructure, and API layers as we scale
* Make the system faster, more reliable, and ready for significantly higher usage
* Work directly with the founding team to shape features, workflows, and new product ideas
* Ship quickly, iterate based on user feedback, and continuously improve the experience
* Establish engineering best practices as we scale the team
* Help hire and mentor future engineers (as the team grows)
* Stay hands-on: this is still a builder role, not just leadership
**What We 're Looking For**
* Strong engineering skills (full-stack or backend-leaning preferred)
* Experience building and launching real, user-facing products
* Someone who thrives in "figure it out and ship it" environments
* Comfortable working with cloud infra, APIs, scaling systems, and high-availability products
* Collaborative, reliable, and low-ego, as we move fast as a team
* Bonus: experience with automation tools, AI, or developer platforms
**Why You Might Love This**
* FAA-approved product with real traction and a fast-growing user base
* Immediate impact: your work will be in our users' hands quickly
* High ownership and real influence on the product, technical, and overall company direction
* A friendly, scrappy team that moves quickly and supports each other
* Meaningful co-founder equity and upside
* Join at the perfect moment: beyond MVP, before the major scale-up
* You get to build in one of the most exciting industries on the planet as drones and aviation are growing fast, evolving fast, and full of unsolved problems
* If youβve ever wanted to shape the future of how drones operate, this is your chance; youβll be building the tools pilots, team and enterprises rely on every day
**What It 's Really Like to Work Here**
We're building something big, and big things don't get built at half-speed. So
if you're looking for comfort, this is the wrong place. But if you want to
help develop an industry-defining platform with people who are fully committed
to the same mission, you'll feel right at home.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), all development work and data-access
roles must be performed from within the United States. Because of these
