**Role Description**
We are seeking an experienced Python / Django Developer with a strong
background in Django, React Native, React, Javascript, SQL, AWS, Aurora, and
Postgres. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building mobile /
web applications with a consumer subscription focus. Our stack is a Django app
+ React / React Native applications for delivering our customer experience.
You’ll be part of a hybrid / remote team, engineers with experience working in
a distributed environment highly preferred
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Python, Django, and Jinja.
* Experience working with SQL, Postgres, and Aurora and various ORMs.
* Experience with Javasript, React, React Native and background with both mobile and web development
* Utilize AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
* Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and security.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current and effective.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
* Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on Python and Django with strong exposure to React / React native applications and javascript.
* Strong proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience in Postgres and Aurora.
* Extensive experience with AWS services.
* Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with additional frameworks and libraries such as Flask, React, etc.
* Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and .
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
* Experience working in subscription based consumer facing applications
* Experience with SSO or other shared login technologies / cross company federations
