### Who You Are

**Must-Haves**

* 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including time in a technical leadership role on a cross functional team.
* Demonstrated ability to lead a team through complex technical problems by building consensus, not just issuing directives.
* Experience building customer facing SPAs and backend services using modern frameworks (experience with AWS, C#, React, or Ember.js is a plus, but not required).
* Proven ability to balance hands on engineering with coordination, delivery, and leadership responsibilities.
* Experience mentoring and leveling up other engineers through pairing, feedback, and coaching.
* Strong understanding of agile practices, lean delivery, and iterative product development.
* Excellent communication skills, comfortable tailoring technical ideas to diverse audiences.
* Able to thrive in fast moving, ambiguous environments with a high sense of ownership.
* Authorized to work in the U.S.

**Nice-to-Haves**

* Experience in a startup or fast growing environment.
* Familiarity with distributed systems or service oriented architectures.
* A track record of improving engineering process, quality, or team collaboration.
* Emphasis on inclusion, psychological safety, and team culture.
* Strong documentation and async first communication habits.

### Location & Eligibility

This is a full time role, available remotely in the U.S. or from one of our
offices in Lincoln, Nebraska; Omaha, Nebraska; or Pennington, New Jersey.
