**Responsibilities**
* Develop, test, and deploy AI-powered features and product improvements.
* Build, integrate, and optimize AI models, APIs, and application workflows.
* Evaluate AI models, analyze results, and implement improvements to enhance quality, performance, and reliability.
* Monitor AI applications, troubleshoot issues, and optimize latency, scalability, and user experience.
* Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
**Requirements**
* 0–2 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or machine learning through full-time roles, internships, research, hackathons, or personal projects.
* Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software engineering fundamentals.
* Experience programming in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C++, or Go.
* Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts such as LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, retrieval, or model APIs through academic, personal, or professional projects.
* Experience building web applications, backend services, APIs, or AI-powered applications.
* Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
**Good to Have**
* Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, or Elasticsearch.
* Exposure to AI frameworks or tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Anthropic API, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
* Experience building AI applications, hackathon projects, or open-source contributions.
* Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools.
* Understanding of model evaluation, prompt optimization, or AI application monitoring.
