### The Role
We're seeking an experienced, self-driven QA Engineer to build and own our
quality assurance strategy from the ground up. In this role, you'll establish
the testing framework, setup automations, and processes that ensure our
platform remains reliable while maintaining our rapid development pace.
### What You'll Do
* Design and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for our platform, for both manual and automated QA.
* Build automated testing frameworks for our Python-based microservices and React frontend
* Develop end-to-end tests that validate our complex integration points with partners like Shopify, Stripe and Plaid.
* Collaborate with developers to build a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle
* Identify opportunities to improve our development process to catch issues earlier
* Establish monitoring and alerting systems to quickly identify issues in production
* Champion quality across the organization and mentor other team members on QA best practices
* Test and validate our AI systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
### What We're Looking For
* 2+ years of QA engineering experience, with at least 1 year focused on automated testing
* Experience testing REST APIs and microservice architectures
* Familiarity with frontend testing for React applications
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation in cloud environments
* Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
* Strong communication abilities and experience working in remote teams
* Experience testing AI/ML systems is a plus
* Prior experience working with e-commerce or financial systems is a plus
