**Title:** Full-Stack AI Engineer

**Location:** Fully remote

Catalyst, Unusual Ventures, and insurance industry veterans. We'd love to

solving challenging problems in our open, remote-based, Full-Stack AI Engineer
role.

**What we’re looking for:**
We're seeking a skilled Full-Stack AI Engineer to join our team. In this role,
you'll design and build cutting-edge user experiences powered by generative
AI. You'd be joining a small-ish team (~25 people), that moves fast, values
excellence, collaboration, creative problem-solving, and has high expectations
of one another. This position offers significant growth opportunities for
someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will
have a direct impact on our products and users.

**Responsibilities:**

* Rapidly prototyping AI features
* Understanding, integrating, and improving LLM technologies into our core applications
* Utilizing observability tools around AI solutions to monitor and improve accuracy of our tools
* Developing scalable solutions that can transition smoothly from concept to production

**Must-have Qualifications:**

* Strong fullstack engineering skills (TypeScript, Python, modern frontend frameworks, backend development)
* Experience integrating LLM APIs into web applications and developing AI-powered features
* Ability to rapidly prototype AI solutions while considering production scalability requirements
* Experience with cloud infrastructure
* Understanding of software design principles for building maintainable systems
* Self-starter, motivated, and organized
* Strong cross-team communication skills
* Desire to learn and grow with the company

**Nice-to-have Qualifications:**

* Familiarity with data warehouse systems like Redshift for managing and analyzing large datasets
* Experience building and deploying RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems
* Knowledge of AI evaluation metrics and testing methodologies
* Experience with microservice architecture
* Experience in Golang
