Job Description
Vera is building a web community to help non-Korean adults find and book the
right Korean medical institutions to receive K-beauty treatments, by learning
from millions of trustworthy reviews and informative guides on our website. In
stealth-mode, seed stage.
We're a fast-moving startup based in NYC and Seoul.
As the first full-time Product Manager at Vera you will have the opportunity
to work on every part of the process from ideation to development to launch.
You will work closely with our co-founders to deliver a simple and thoughtful
experience for the products we build.
**The Role:**
We're seeking a Product Manager with expertise in the K-beauty industry, who
will drive the full design-development-iteration cycle of our product — owning
multiple stakeholder relationships to align on product vision and roadmap,
scoping and guiding innovative feature design, and managing sprints to develop
optimally and efficiently.
This is an opportunity for someone ready to take the reigns of their career
and play a pivotal role in shaping our product, team, and the global K-beauty
industry as a whole.
Job type: Full-time.
* Lead customer interviews & competitor/ market research to align multiple stakeholders on defining and driving product roadmap.
* Draft product specs.
* Drive sprint planning, QA, & daily standups.
* Lend help with marketing & sales.
**Requirements:**
* 4+ years of experience as a software PM, K-beauty experience/ knowledge is a must.
* Has taken multiple products or features through its full life-cycle.
* Prior work experience at an early-stage startup.
* Location: Prefer offline, but open to remote candidates as well in the US.
**Extra:**
* Korean+English bilingual is a BIG plus.
* Figma design experience.
* Engineering background.
Vera focuses on Health Care Information Technology, Technology, Travel &
