**This role**
Truckbase is looking for a full-stack engineer who will work directly with
users to build & scope new features for small & mid-sized trucking companies.
In this role, you should expect to drive new features end-to-end with support
from product & design.
This role is not just about technical skills but also about partnering with
customers, collaborating with product, and thinking creatively about how to
prepare our product for the next stage of growth.
This is the ideal role for engineers with a founder’s mindset.
**Responsibilities**
* Scope and lead new features end-to-end
* Be involved and provide input on product and strategic decision-making
* Work directly with customers, product, and design to develop practical & elegant solutions to mission-critical features
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
* Provide support for operational issues, including occasional on-call duties for critical system issues
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, to ensure alignment with company goals and user needs
