Anoto is hiring a principal software engineer to work on our hardest technical
problems, including systems design (Typescript / React / Nodejs / AWS),
bluetooth protocols, and firmware (C++). We’re a small, friendly, and
ambitious team of talented people bringing unique connected products to
market. This will be a challenging and rewarding role with huge opportunities

This is a full-time, fully remote role, with time zones UTC-3 to UTC+1
preferred (that’s roughly Western Europe, Central Europe, and most of South
America) - we will also consider exceptional candidates through UTC-5 (US
Eastern time). The Senior Full Stack engineer will report to our CTO.
**Responsibilities**
* Set and enforce code, testing, and architectural quality standards, in collaboration with our CTO
* Collaborate closely with the Head of Software Product as well as the hardware and commercial teams to solve a variety of customer problems in an optimal way
* Design and implement end-to-end features and architectures for React Native, Nextjs, TypeScript, NodeJS and various AWS and AI services
* Work on the app’s Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface, hardware bluetooth protocol, and low-energy firmware. (Prior experience with these areas is _not_ required)
* Contribute to the improvement of software development and business processes
* Directly managing other software engineers is an _optional possibility_ for this role depending on your goals and interests

You should have:
* Deep experience with functional programming paradigms and system design best practices

* 5+ years professional software development experience
* Post-graduate degree in computer science strongly preferred
