Job Summary

This is an unpaid equity based role that will involve pitching MVPs to
potential utility clients to initiate a paid proof of concept. After vetting
use cases across the utility landscape, I've identified potential clients and
several problems to solve and will be seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to
join me as a technical cofounder.

end customers with advanced analytics and payments to make smarter, cleaner,
and more efficient decisions. From analyzing natural gas data to avoid leaks
and leveraging water usage patterns to prevent droughts, Utilyze wants to help
clients make utility data useful.

Responsibilities

Utilyze will work with utilities on journey mapping / customer experience
transformation engagements at first to build out analytics capabilities,
energy efficiency programs, and demand response programs specific to client
needs. Eventually, we can build more capabilities with out-of-the-box
functionality.

Develop MVPs using Generative AI with Python, Databricks, and SQL for use
cases like:

* Electrical outage and gas leak prediction modeling
* Forecasting for natural gas demand response programs
* Notification systems for influencing energy efficiency programs
* Water conservation and leak detection modeling
* Blockchain payment processing using stablecoins

Manage the end-to-end process of building out analytics products:

* Design industry specific apps for the utility client
* Build reliable data pipelines for different use cases
* Ingest data into pipelines via OAuth protocols
* Train ML models (forecasting, clustering, classification)
* Create enterprise dashboards or consumer facing frontends

Preferred Qualifications

* Familiarity with OAuth protocols for accessing utility data
* Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
* Familiarity with natural language processing techniques
* Experience building with blockchain in the payments space
* Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics related field
