**Role Overview**
We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-moving team at
Gains.com. As an early technical hire, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping
the architecture, performance, and scalability of our platform as we expand
nationwide.
You’ll collaborate directly with our Founders & engineering team to design,
build, and deploy new features across our unified codebase. We’re looking for
someone who’s obsessed with using AI to build faster and smarter — ideally
someone who’s hands-on with tools like Claude Code or other AI-driven coding
workflows.
This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced startup
environments and is willing to go the extra mile to help build a category-
defining gaming product from the ground up.
**What You’ll Do**
* Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable systems across our platform.
* Collaborate with the CTO and engineering team to design and implement new features.
* Work on various needs of the platform, from creating new functionalities to improving existing ones.
* Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
* Adapt your work schedule to accommodate a completely remote and globally distributed team.
**Requirements**
* Javascript/Typescript: Strong proficiency in both languages.
* Node.js: Extensive experience with server-side development.
* SQL: Solid understanding and experience with relational databases.
* Scalable and Maintainable Systems: A track record of building and shipping production-ready systems that are both scalable and easy to maintain.
* AI-Assisted Development: Passion for leveraging AI tools like Claude Code (or similar) to accelerate coding, improve workflows, and push the limits of developer productivity.
**Nice to Have**
* Firebase Platform: Experience with services like Cloud Functions and Firebase Authentication.
* Angular: Knowledge of building scalable SSR frontends utilizing the Angular Framework.
* Flutter: Knowledge of mobile development with Flutter.
* Cloud Spanner: Familiarity with Google’s distributed database.
* Nx (Monorepo): Experience with monorepo tools and principles.
* GitHub Actions: Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
* Claude Code: Experience using Anthropic's terminal based AI CLI
