**About Us**
We are a U.S.-registered investment advisor managing a long-short equity hedge
fund with a strong multi-year track record. Our firm is fully digital and
remote, and we're currently servicing high net worth individuals but
considering expanding to institutional capital. As we scale, we’re seeking a
highly capable Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to bring structure,
clarity, and expertise to our financial and operational systems.

**Role Overview**
As our fractional CFO, you will be a key thought partner to the founder,
responsible for overseeing financial operations, compliance, reporting, and
strategy. You will support fundraising efforts, help shape our
budgeting/forecasting processes, and ensure we are set up to scale
responsibly. The role will expand as our AUM and complexity grow.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage fund accounting, FP&A, and compliance in partnership with external providers
* Lead financial planning, cash flow modeling, and reporting
* Prepare and review investor and tax documentation as needed
* Support institutional due diligence and investor relations
* Help develop SOPs and internal controls across finance and operations
* Advise on fund structure and support the launch of new products (e.g., crypto strategy)
* Provide strategic insight to leadership, identifying areas for financial and operational improvement
* Coordinate annual audits, filings, and other regulatory responsibilities

**Qualifications**

* 4+ years’ experience as CFO or senior finance leader at a hedge fund, VC/PE fund, or similar investment vehicle
* Strong accounting, tax, and financial analysis skills
* Experience operating in a fully remote environment
* Familiarity with fund structures, performance and management fees, and regulatory frameworks
* Highly organized, responsive, and proactive
* Positive, entrepreneurial, and solutions-oriented mindset
* Willingness to grow with the role and eventually scale into a full-time position

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience raising capital or working directly with institutional investors
* Prior work with solo GPs or lean teams
