SECONDSENSE is VC-backed startup building the operating system for
resale—cleaning up a fragmented, inefficient secondhand $350Bn market and
helping people shop smarter. After going viral on TikTok—including content
that all-in has reached 6.4M+ views (and counting)—we experienced a 32,000%
surge in daily page visits and a wave of inbound vendor interest.

We’re now scaling up to continue building the platform consumers trust,
vendors rely on, and the resale economy runs on.

Like Stripe for payments or Plaid for financial data, we're building the rails
for resale.

**Role Overview:**
We’re hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join our core technical team. You’ll
work across the stack—core data, backend, frontend—to turn a fast-moving
product into a fast-scaling platform. This is a high-impact, early engineering
role where you’ll own major parts of the product and help shape the
infrastructure behind how people shop secondhand.

**What You’ll Do:**

* Build and scale frontend (React) and backend (Python/Quart) systems
* Improve search logic, listing ingestion, and overall site performance
* Collaborate on user experience, landing page UX, and SEO optimization
* Contribute to technical architecture and engineering best practices
* Ship fast, iterate often, and support future hires

What We’re Looking For:

* Automatic interview for consumer-facing resale/e-commerce applied ML experience (including the following but not limited to: StockX, GOAT Group, GRAILED, SSENSE)
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (required)
* Master's degree in related field preferred
* 3+ years experience in full stack or backend development
* Proficient in React, Python, MongoDB, Docker, and general web infra
* Experience with deployment engineer a plus (AWS, IaaS, Pulumi)
* Strong product intuition and a builder’s mindset
