**What You 'll Be Building**
As our first technical hire, you’ll architect and build the core optimization
engine for Zylo’s MVP.
A/B Testing Engine: Automatically create, deploy, and monitor UX and content
experiments
AI Content Integration: Plug into GPT-4 to optimize product descriptions,
landing pages, and CTAs
Pricing Engine: Implement basic dynamic pricing logic tied to real-time
performance
Performance Dashboard: Build a clean internal dashboard to visualize results
Shopify API Hooks: Integrate with the store’s backend for seamless updates
You'll move fast, build lightweight, ship real experiments, and see the
immediate business impact of your work.
**Responsibilities**
Architect and build the first MVP version of Zylo’s product
Build and manage A/B tests across storefront elements (copy, layouts, pricing)
Integrate GPT-4 API for dynamic content rewriting
Connect to Shopify API for storefront updates and management
Build internal analytics tools to track optimization results
Collaborate closely with the founder on product decisions and iteration
Deploy backend and frontend to production (likely Vercel)
**Ideal Skill Set**
3–5+ years experience as a full-stack engineer
Proficient in Node.js, Next.js, React
Solid understanding of A/B testing frameworks and experimentation design
Experience working with APIs (Shopify, OpenAI a plus)
Data-driven mindset: understands KPIs like conversion rate, AOV, CAC, LTV
Comfortable owning projects end-to-end, fast iteration cycles
Experience in startups or small, high-ownership teams
