Springer Permits is a stealth startup leveraging AI to automate the permitting
process, starting with home electrification upgrades like heat pumps, EV
chargers, and rooftop solar.
Permits exist to keep society safe, but the system to manage them is broken.
The technology to improve our homes and communities is available — yet held
back by slow, expensive manual permit processes. Permits shouldn’t be the
bottleneck to innovation.
We’re streamlining complex, cumbersome permitting procedures to save time,
reduce costs, and eliminate frustration. By removing this major barrier, we’re
unlocking growth for contractors, accelerating home electrification, and
helping to address climate challenges.
But technology is only as good as the people who build and support it - we
can’t do this alone.
**The Role**
We’re looking for a Founding Director of Permit Operations (title negotiable)
to join our early-stage sta+rtup. This is a part-time, equity-only role with
significant upside, transitioning to a full-time role with market-rate pay
upon funding (the same as the rest of the founding team). Salary range listed
is the expected range upon funding.

**Responsibilities**
* Own the Permit Process: Manage permits end-to-end, from gathering project details to scheduling inspections.
* Be the Industry Expert: Share your permitting expertise internally, informing our technical roadmap and automation strategies.
* Drive Customer Success: Work directly with contractors and AHJs to resolve issues, answer questions, and keep projects moving.
