**Role Overview:**
The Chief Engineer will lead the hands-on development, deployment, and
management of our analytics platform. This role requires an engineer who is
equally adept at coding, system design, and operational management. You’ll
work directly with the founding team to build the platform from the ground up,
ensuring robust performance, security, and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
End-to-End Platform Development:
Architect, develop, test, and deploy the analytics platform using modern
technologies.
Build secure, high-performance systems that can operate “lights off” in a
firewall-protected environment.
Hands-On Engineering Leadership:
Write high-quality, maintainable code and actively participate in code
reviews.
Mentor and lead the engineering team, setting coding standards and best
practices.
Operational Management:
Ensure the platform is robust, scalable, and meets enterprise security
requirements (SSO, encryption, etc.).
Oversee the integration of development, deployment, and customer support
processes.
Collaboration & Execution:
Work closely with the Chief Platform Architect to ensure that the technical
vision is realized.
Engage directly with early adopters and customers to gather feedback and
continuously improve the product.
Continuous Improvement:
Implement automation, monitoring, and performance optimization tools to
streamline operations.
Stay up-to-date with new-age data management and analytics technologies.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
8+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on building
enterprise-grade platforms.
Expertise in full-stack development, including modern front-end frameworks
(e.g., React) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python).
Solid experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker,
Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
Proven ability to deploy and manage applications in secure, enterprise
environments.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
Experience with agile methodologies and a track record of delivering high-
quality products on time.
