AppEQ.ai is a **B2B SaaS startup** helping **Customer Success and Account
Management** teams drive **renewals, upsells, and customer engagement**. Our
latest product, **SmartSlides** , automates **Quarterly Business Reviews
(QBRs)** and customer presentations with **real-time insights** to improve
retention and revenue expansion.
We are expanding into the **US market** and looking for an ambitious **BD
Intern** to help **generate leads, book meetings, and drive adoption** of
SmartSlides among mid-market and enterprise SaaS companies.
### Responsibilities
* **Lead Generation & Outreach**
* Research and identify **US-based SaaS companies** with **Customer Success teams**.
* Execute **cold outreach** via **LinkedIn, email, and calls** to schedule SmartSlides demos.
* Build targeted prospect lists using **Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other tools**.
* **Sales Engagement & Pipeline Support**
* Understand key pain points for **Customer Success leaders** (e.g., VP of CS, CCOs).
* Customize outreach messages based on prospect needs and **SmartSlides ' value proposition**.
* Schedule and coordinate demo meetings for the sales team.
* **Market Research & Competitive Analysis**
* Analyze **Customer Success automation trends** in the US market.
* Track competitors like **Gainsight, Totango, Planhat** , and their positioning in QBR automation.
* **Campaign Execution & Performance Tracking**
* Assist in **email sequences, LinkedIn outreach** , and event-based campaigns.
* Track and report performance metrics (open rates, response rates, meeting conversion).
* Experiment with different outreach approaches to optimize results.
### Qualifications
* Strong communication skills β confident in writing emails and engaging with US-based prospects.
* Familiar with B2B SaaS or Customer Success technology β any prior experience in SaaS sales is a plus.
* Comfortable with cold outreach β experience in LinkedIn outreach or sales internships is a bonus.
* Driven and proactive β takes ownership and experiments with new sales strategies.
* Familiarity with sales tools like Apollo.io, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred but not required.
* Bonus: Experience in SaaS sales, lead generation, or inside sales for the US market.
